What a pic! I was outside getting my trashcan because I forgot to bring it back to my yard and it was flying all over the street. That's right, it was almost at the neighbor's home. The winds were that strong. I grabbed my camera when I saw this cloud looming overhead. It looks like rain, but all we got was dirt and wind. Could this be the system that my friend was complaining about when he heard he was getting snow tomorrow morning in Oklahoma? Perhaps.
The funny part is that fifteen minutes later, that very cloud was gone and the winds were too. Oh and if you look at the left side of the picture, there's an airplane passing by. All I could think of was "man, the turbulence must be horrible right now." The weather is so wacky in spring. And in reality, we don't doubt the craziness here in town. April is the month in which we get horrible hail storms, horrendous dust storms, and one year, we even got a tornado warning. Tornados don't really occur around here, but the sky was red and it looked like Mars out there. April is scary. This was just one cloud. Wait until we get our nasty weather rolling.
