Ah, this is my true reason for Easter: chocolate eggs. They are the most delicious and amazing little delicacies ever. Yes, I know, there is chocolate available year round, but these are eggs. Some of these chocolate eggs are filled with a mousse or creamy chocolate filling. Mmm, life is good.
Then you have peeps. I used to love Peeps but they are so sweet now that they kill me with the sugar rush. I can't stand them. Sorry, Peeps. Other Easter sweets that have been put on my "past" list: Robin Eggs (can't stand whoppers anymore), jelly beans (ew), Cadbury eggs (too sweet!). Rest in pieces, dear candy.
But chocolate, oh my, that will never grow old. Granted, this is milk chocolate, but I simply love it. My favorites will always be the Dove Truffle Eggs. YUM! However, this year, Hershey has come out with Bliss and they're not bad.
Yes, I went out and bought chocolate. It's the season, after all. Yay, Easter chocolate!

Silly Bear
This silly bear is hanging from my phone. He's sticking his tongue out at everyone. Take that, cookie!
Belated Post: The Reason
These are the reason why I'm behind on my blog. I've always had problems with my legs. No, I haven't been seen by a doctor since I was eight and the doctor said that I had growing pains. However, last night, I was in pain not only in my legs, but my hips and spine too. My arms and hands were also hurting. The older I get, the more my bones hurt. I hope it isn't serious.
Maybe I should go see a doctor. Or write about this. I once wrote a story (part of a bigger story) where a young girl was getting torn apart and tortured by little imps. Yeah, it feels a little like that. I won't post that story because it may be a work in progress for a future college application, but you can imagine the pain.
So, I'm going to rest and hopefully not get terribly bored.

Je t'aime
The need for people. The need for friendship. The need for love. It's a basic emotion everyone has and while some have this emotion fulfilled, others don't seem to get it right. They have distant friends, or distracted lovers, or are simply not surrounded by anyone. Perhaps their need for others is justified. Or maybe it's their fault that others are distant because these people are afraid to allow others into their lives.
"I love you" may sound old and redundant, but to some people, these little words are so comforting, they yearn to hear it from anyone. It doesn't have to be romantic or lustful. It could just be that you mean something to someone, even if it's a little something, just to show that you matter.
That's all.

Big Potato
Yeah, baby! Hey, have you noticed that I have a bunch of food and toys on this blog? Shows you how I live my life, huh? Anyway, I was happy to get that potato head. I wanted something Saints and I found this gem and had to buy it.
On a separate note, I got a thank you note from a student today. It felt good. She's been going through some problems and we talked it out. It's times like these that make me happy to be a teacher. Everything else is irritating.
Speaking of which, I'm tired. I'm going to rest. Have a good night, cookie.
Spring break is right around the corner!

Dark Clouds
I'm four days away from Spring Break and I can't shake this eagerness to run out of work and scream off the top of my lungs. I will continue to work until Friday, but I don't know if the kiddos will. This picture above is soothing and a little reminiscent of the chaos in my world. This is the light in the darkness. There will be peace in my life once again and before I know it, I will be back to stress. It's a vicious cycle that I can't stand. One day, I will learn how to be stress free. The light within me will shine as bright as the sun and it will break through all the darkness and muck in my life.
Only then will I be free.
