The need for people. The need for friendship. The need for love. It's a basic emotion everyone has and while some have this emotion fulfilled, others don't seem to get it right. They have distant friends, or distracted lovers, or are simply not surrounded by anyone. Perhaps their need for others is justified. Or maybe it's their fault that others are distant because these people are afraid to allow others into their lives.
"I love you" may sound old and redundant, but to some people, these little words are so comforting, they yearn to hear it from anyone. It doesn't have to be romantic or lustful. It could just be that you mean something to someone, even if it's a little something, just to show that you matter.
